Find replacement rechargeable batteries and AC adapters for the bench, price computing, crane and laboratory scales we sell and service. Most bench, price computing and crane scales run on a sealed lead-acid battery, usually 6 V (4 Ah or 5 Ah) or 4 V. Many A&D balances use a NiMH pack, such as the EKW-09i for EK-i and EW-i balances or the 12 V AD-1682 unit. Countertop scales and indicators plug into an AC adapter, from 6 V and 9 V wall adapters up to the 24 V supply for Torrey LSQ-40L label printers.

How to match a battery or adapter

Check three things on the old part or on the scale label: the voltage, the capacity or current (Ah or mA), and the connector or terminal type. An AC adapter needs the same voltage and plug polarity, and a current rating equal to or higher than the original. If the label is worn, send us the scale model and a photo and we will match the part.
