Torrey PC-40L (PC40L) Price Computing Scale, 40 lb x 0.01 lb, NTEP Legal for Trade

Description

Torrey PC-40L Price Computing Scale, 40 lb x 0.01 lb

The Torrey PC-40L (PC40L) is a 40 lb price computing scale for stores that sell food and goods by the pound. Enter or recall a unit price, set the item on the plate, and the scale shows the weight, the price per pound and the total price at the same time. Readability is 0.01 lb across the full 40 lb range, fine enough for candy, nuts, coffee and deli portions.

The PC-40L is NTEP approved as a Class III scale, so you can use it to sell by weight in the U.S. The case and weighing plate are stainless steel for easy cleaning in food areas, and a backlit LCD on each side lets your customer follow every sale. A rechargeable battery runs about 100 hours between charges, which makes the PC-40L a good fit for farmers markets, food trucks and other places without a handy outlet.
