CAS ED-15 Dual Range Bench Scale

The CAS ED-15 (ED15) bench scale is a 15 lb dual range CAS ED scale that reads 0.002 lb up to 6 lb and 0.005 lb up to 15 lb. Beyond weighing, it counts parts, checkweighs with HI/OK/LO limits and keeps running totals, so one compact NTEP legal for trade scale covers the counter, the packing table and the stockroom.

Nine large function keys make it quick to change modes, and the backlit LCD stays readable in dim back rooms. The built-in rechargeable battery and auto power off let the ED work away from an outlet, and the RS-232C port sends results to a PC or a CAS DLP-50 label printer or DEP-50 receipt printer (sold separately). Both a stainless steel and a plastic platter come in the box.

Is the CAS ED NTEP Legal for Trade?

Yes. The ED series is NTEP approved as a Class III scale under Certificate of Conformance 09-072, so the CAS ED-15 is legal for trade for selling by weight. For precious metals or other jobs that call for an NTEP Class II balance, see the A&D FX-200iN, 220 g x 0.001 g, NTEP Class II.

Printing from the ED

Connect the RS-232C port to a CAS DLP-50 label printer, DEP-50 receipt printer or an Epson TMU295 slip printer (sold separately) to print weights, counts and totals.
