A&D FX-200iN NTEP Precision Balance: 220 g × 0.001 g, Legal for Trade

The A&D Weighing FX-200iN is the NTEP-approved, legal-for-trade version of A&D’s FX-200i precision balance. It weighs up to 220 g, displays 0.001 g, and carries an NTEP Class II Certificate of Conformance with a certified division of e = 0.01 g. A&D’s patented Compact Super Hybrid Sensor (C-SHS) settles in about one second, so you can weigh and package product quickly at the counter.

In the default e = 10d setting the balance shows 0.001 g with the last digit marked as non-certified; switch to e = d and it reads directly in 0.01 g. The bright VFD display, small breeze break, and Ø130 mm stainless steel pan make it easy to use all day, and the standard RS-232C port connects it to a printer, PC, or point-of-sale system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the A&D FX-200iN legal for trade?

Yes. It is NTEP Class II approved under CC 08-045 with e = 0.01 g. Your state may also require registration, inspection, and sealing before use.

What is the difference between e = 10d and e = d?

In e = 10d (default) the balance shows 0.001 g but only the 0.01 g digit is certified. In e = d it displays 0.01 g directly. Both are NTEP-approved.

Does the FX-200iN read in grains?

Not in legal-for-trade mode. In A&D standard mode for non-trade use, grains and other units are available.

What calibration weight does the FX-200iN use?

A&D lists 200 g or 100 g weights. A weight is not included; add our 100 g calibration weight or have us calibrate the balance before it ships.
