Why A&D Weighing

A&D designs its own weighing sensors, including the Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS) used across its precision balances, for fast, stable readings. Replacing a discontinued A&D model

Calibration for A&D products

For any A&D scale or balance, calibration before shipping is available on request (paid service tiers), done in our Cypress, TX shop. Pricing is set by the scale’s maximum capacity:

A scale whose capacity is exactly at a tier limit uses the lower tier.

A 220 g FX-200iN falls in the up to 2.2 kg tier, and a 150 lb HV-60KC falls in the 35–150 kg tier. Calibration usually takes 1–3 business days after we receive the scale. On-site service in Houston

Our TDA-Registered Technicians service all scale classes and handle the RWM-780 and RWM-700 paperwork when a Texas trade scale is placed into service. We calibrate and repair A&D scales and balances on-site across the Houston area and surrounding suburbs, with Dallas, Austin and San Antonio on request. Yes. MNM Scales is an authorized A&D Weighing dealer, and our products come with the A&D manufacturer warranty.

Which A&D balances are legal for trade?

Models ending in N, such as the FX-200iN and GF-203AN, are NTEP Class II. The EK-i Everest series and many HV-C, SK-WP and SE bench scales are NTEP approved too.

What is the A&D Super Hybrid Sensor?

It is A&D’s weighing sensor design used in its precision balances, giving readings in about one second with strong long-term stability.

Do you carry A&D parts and accessories?

Yes. We stock A&D AC adapters, batteries, interface cables, draft shields, in-use covers and calibration weights. See A&D parts and accessories.

Do you calibrate A&D scales before shipping?

Calibration before shipping is available on request as a paid service. Choose the in-house or NIST tier that matches the capacity, and we calibrate it in Cypress, usually within 1–3 business days.
