Sartorius is a German lab-equipment maker, and its balances are found in pharmaceutical, university, food and QC labs worldwide. We stock the current lines, Entris II, Entris II Advanced, Quintix Pro and Secura, from 6 kg precision balances down to microbalances that read to 0.002 mg, plus moisture analyzers, gold and carat balances, and NTEP models for trade. Every Sartorius balance ships free from our shop in Cypress, TX, and we can calibrate it before it ships.

Sartorius balance lines

• Entris II (BCE). The everyday Sartorius lab balance, from 0.1 mg analytical to 1 g readability. Models with “I” in the name have internal calibration, and “-1NUS” models are NTEP approved.
• Entris II Advanced (BCA). Adds a graphic touch display, real-time level support, CalAuditTrail documentation of calibration and leveling, and 13 built-in applications.
• Quintix Pro (QTX). A 7-inch touchscreen, isoCAL automatic internal adjustment, real-time level monitoring, and USB-C, Ethernet and RS-232 ports. Replaces the earlier Quintix and Secura precision models.
• Secura. Semi-micro balances and microbalances for regulated labs, plus NTEP Class I and II models for trade.
• Moisture analyzers. Infrared models such as the MA37 measure moisture content by loss on drying.
• Gold and carat balances. Balances for jewelers that read in grams and carats.

Entris II covers most daily work at a good price. Choose an “I” model if the balance moves often or the room temperature changes.

Documented and regulated work

Entris II Advanced and Quintix Pro add real-time level support, password protection and GLP/GMP-compliant printouts, and Quintix Pro adds a 7-inch touchscreen and user management.

Sub-milligram samples

Secura semi-micro balances read to 0.01 mg, and the SECURA26-1S microbalance reads to 0.002 mg for filters and very small samples. Read analytical vs precision balance to see which class you need.

Sartorius calibration and service

Every Sartorius balance on this page can ship calibrated from our Cypress, TX shop. Calibration is priced by maximum capacity:

A scale whose capacity is exactly at a tier limit uses the lower tier.

Balances up to 2,200 g fall in the first tier, and 3.1 to 6.2 kg models in the 2.2–6.2 kg tier. Calibration usually takes 1–3 business days after we receive the balance, and our mail-in scale calibration service covers Sartorius balances bought anywhere. MNM Scales is TDA licensed with registered technicians for all scale classes.

Our technicians also provide balance calibration in Houston on-site across the Houston area and surrounding suburbs, with Dallas, Austin and San Antonio on request. On-site service is $295 plus $2 per mile round trip, charged once per visit, with calibration priced per balance on top.

Yes. MNM Scales is an authorized Sartorius dealer and stocks the Entris II, Entris II Advanced, Quintix Pro and Secura lines.

What does “I” or “-1S” mean in a Sartorius model number?

An “I” after the capacity means internal calibration. “-1S” marks the standard version, and “-1NUS” marks the NTEP version for the US.

What replaced the Sartorius Quintix and Secura precision balances?

The Quintix Pro line (QTX models) is the current replacement, with a larger touchscreen and isoCAL automatic adjustment.

Do you sell Sartorius accessories?
