Brecknell calibration

Add calibration to any Brecknell scale and we calibrate it at our Cypress, TX shop before it ships, usually within 1–3 business days. Pricing follows the scale’s maximum capacity:

A scale whose capacity is exactly at a tier limit uses the lower tier.

For example, the PS25 falls in the 6.2–35 kg tier, the PS330 (150 kg) in the 35–150 kg tier, and the PS500 and PS1000 floor scales in the over 150 kg tier. MNM Scales is TDA licensed with registered technicians for all scale classes. On-site service in Houston and the surrounding suburbs is $295 plus $2 per mile round trip, charged once per visit, with calibration priced per scale, and it covers medical offices, pharmacies and labs. Is Brecknell the same as Salter Brecknell?

Yes. Salter Brecknell is the earlier brand name, and many models and parts still carry it. We stock both current Brecknell and Salter Brecknell models and parts.

Which Brecknell scale is best for shipping?

For letters and small parcels, the PS7 or PS25. For heavier packages, the PS330 (330 lb) or LPS-400 (400 lb).
