Floor Scales

A floor scale sits on the ground and weighs pallets, drums, livestock, or other loads that will not fit on a bench. This collection at MNM Scales includes Detecto NTEP platforms, Optima washdown and kit floors, and Brecknell veterinary or drum models.

How to choose a floor scale

• Capacity: stay above the heaviest load, including the pallet or animal.
• Platform: the item should sit fully on the deck. Common sizes here run from veterinary platforms to 4 ft × 4 ft and 5 ft × 5 ft decks.
• Environment: washdown or stainless for wet rooms; painted or mild steel for dry warehouses.
• Indicator: column, remote, or kit if you are pairing load cells with a separate readout.
