How to choose a floor scale
- Capacity: stay above the heaviest load, including the pallet or animal.
- Platform: the item should sit fully on the deck. Common sizes here run from veterinary platforms to 4 ft × 4 ft and 5 ft × 5 ft decks.
- Environment: washdown or stainless for wet rooms; painted or mild steel for dry warehouses.
- Indicator: column, remote, or kit if you are pairing load cells with a separate readout.
