he Optima OP-916SS-LT floor washdown scale has a lift up feature and is waterproof for easy cleaning of any spills and can handle the toughest industrial environments thanks to the heavy duty stainless steel construction. Its indicator has a metal casing with an LCD display and is NTEP-approved and washdown-safe. Communication with peripherals is possible through the RS232 port. Remote operation is possible through an optional rechargeable battery.

This Optima Scale 4ft. x 4ft. Lift-Up Wash-Down Floor Scale is ideal for many industries including poultry, seafood and agriculture. The lift-up top design includes stainless steel gas spring shocks that allow easy lifting of the heavy-duty deck for wash-down cleaning. This unit includes a NEMA 4 wash-down indicator that displays lbs. or kgs.; offers zero, tare and hold; and includes a 20ft.L heavy-duty metal-shielded cable. Built for pit or above-ground use, this unit features a steel top plate welded to a steel support channel understructure to keep the scale from warping and bending. Semi-open hinge-top design provides easy access for a complete wash-down. Side access to the stainless steel junction box reduces the chance of food, debris and other matter from getting trapped in the creases of the junction box compartment. Hermetically sealed load cells prevent moisture from infiltrating strain gauge and wiring.
