The Adam Equipment Core CQT 2601 (CQT2601, also written CQT-2601) is a portable compact balance that weighs up to 2600 g in 0.1 g steps on a 145 mm (5.7 in) grade 304 stainless steel pan. It runs on six AA batteries or the included AC adapter, so it goes from the lab bench to the classroom or field without a second thought.

The tough ABS housing resists spills, and three-point ShockProtect helps prevent overload damage when a heavy item lands on the pan. A vivid backlit LCD with a programmable backlight is readable in any light, dual tare keys work with either hand, and a hook is provided for below-balance weighing.
