CAS SW-1-5 Portion Control Scale

The CAS SW-1-5 portion control scale (also sold as the CAS SW-5) weighs up to 5 lb in 0.002 lb steps on a stainless steel tray. It is a compact, NTEP legal for trade scale built for portioning in restaurant kitchens, selling by weight in specialty shops and working a farmers market stand.

The SW-1 runs on the included 9 V AC adapter or on six D batteries (not included), so it moves easily between prep stations or out to an event with no outlet nearby. The 1-inch LCD is easy to read from a distance, the soft-touch keys switch between pounds, kilograms, ounces and grams, and auto power off saves the batteries.

Is the CAS SW-1 NTEP Legal for Trade?

Yes. The SW-1 series is NTEP approved as a Class III scale under Certificate of Conformance 99-002A1 and approved by Measurement Canada (AM-5297), so the CAS SW-1-5 is legal for trade for selling by weight.
