The A&D GF-300P (GF300P) is a legal-for-trade prescription balance from A&D’s GF-P pharmacy series. It weighs up to 310 g with 0.001 g readability, is NTEP approved as an Accuracy Class II balance with a verification division of e = 0.01 g (Certificate of Conformance 04-077), and meets the Handbook 44 requirements for a Class A prescription balance. A&D’s Super Hybrid Sensor settles in about one second, so compounding, prescription weighing and pill counting move quickly at the pharmacy counter.

The A&D GF-P Series, including the GF-300P, is listed on NTEP Certificate of Conformance 04-077 as an Accuracy Class II prescription balance for general weighing, prescription weighing and counting for prescription filling (310 g capacity, e = 0.01 g, d = 0.001 g, 128 x 128 mm platform). For legal-for-trade use the NTEP temperature range is 5 to 30 °C (41 to 86 °F). Your state or local weights and measures office may require registration, inspection or sealing before the balance is placed into service.

Calibration

The GF-300P uses external calibration started from the CAL key on the front panel. A 300 g calibration mass is recommended and is sold separately.
