The RADWAG PMV 50.5Y (PMV50.5Y) is a 50 g x 0.1 mg microwave moisture analyzer that dries most samples in 1 to 10 minutes and reads moisture to 0.0001%. Its 800 W microwave heats the whole sample volume evenly, so high-moisture samples such as dairy, meat, sauces and slurries finish far faster than on a halogen analyzer.

The PMV 50.5Y dries samples with microwaves, which heat the whole sample volume evenly. A typical test takes 1 to 10 minutes, compared with 5 to 40 minutes on a traditional halogen moisture analyzer. A temperature sensor and power monitoring stop the sample from reaching its boiling point. It is built on RADWAG’s advanced 5Y platform with a 10 in color touchscreen, expanded memory for reports and graphs, and Wi-Fi.
