Description

The A&D SW-04 is the RS-422/485 output option for the A&D SW series stainless steel washdown bench scales. RS-422/485 is a differential serial standard, so it carries weight data reliably over longer cable runs than RS-232C and suits PLC and multi-drop networks in food plants and production lines.

Tips

The SW-03 and SW-04 cannot be installed at the same time. With either option fitted, the SW scale is no longer rated IP69K, so plan washdown procedures accordingly.

No. For comparator relay outputs with RS-232C, choose the A&D SW-03.

Is a cable included?

An interface cable is not included; use a cable that matches your PLC or PC connection.
