A&D GF-3000 Precision Balance: 3100 g × 0.01 g with External Calibration (Discontinued, Replaced by the GF-3002A)

The A&D Weighing GF-3000 is a toploading precision balance from A&D’s GF series. It weighs up to 3100 g with 0.01 g readability and uses external calibration. Inside is A&D’s patented Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS), which combines magnetic force restoration with a single-point load cell for readings in about one second and long-term stability.

It shares the GX series housing and sensor, without internal calibration, which keeps the price down for labs and production lines that calibrate with their own weights. The bright VFD display, 165 × 165 mm stainless steel pan, and dust- and splash-resistant keypad (IP54 level) handle daily bench work, and RS-232C, data memory, and an underhook are standard.

Count small parts with 10, 25, 50, or 100 sample pieces down to a 0.01 g unit weight, and ACAI improves accuracy as you add pieces.

Jewelers weigh larger lots in troy ounces, pennyweight, or carats, and pharmacies and test labs use it for in-house checks and non-trade testing up to 3.1 kg.

What calibration weight does the A&D GF-3000 use?

A&D lists 3000 g, 2000 g, or 1000 g weights for external calibration. A weight is not included with the balance, so we recommend adding our calibration service before it ships.

What is the difference between the GF-3000 and the GX-4000?

Both use the same SHS sensor and 0.01 g readability. The GX-4000 adds motor-driven internal calibration, a clock and calendar, and 4100 g capacity. The GF-3000 uses external calibration and weighs up to 3100 g.

What replaced the A&D GF-3000?
