CAS DL-300 Bench Scale

The CAS DL-300 (DL300) bench scale weighs up to 300 lb in 0.1 lb steps on a large 15.8 x 20.6 in platform, with the display raised on a pole so it stays readable when boxes, sacks or produce crates cover the platform. It is NTEP legal for trade, so it works for selling by weight as well as shipping and general weighing.

Besides zero and tare, the DL counts parts and checkweighs against HI/LO limits. It runs on the 9 V AC adapter in the box or on six C batteries (not included) for use away from an outlet, and auto zero tracking keeps the reading steady. The RS-232C port connects a CAS DEP-50 receipt printer, an Epson TMU295 slip printer or a PC.

Is the CAS DL NTEP Legal for Trade?

Yes. The DL series is NTEP approved as a Class III scale under Certificate of Conformance 08-016, so the CAS DL-300 is legal for trade for selling by weight. For precious metals or other jobs that call for an NTEP Class II balance, see the A&D FX-200iN, 220 g x 0.001 g, NTEP Class II.
