Description
CAS LP-1000NP Label Printing Scale with Pole Display
The CAS LP-1000NP label printing scale is the pole display version of the CAS LP-1000N. It weighs up to 30 lb in 0.01 lb steps, prices each item from its PLU, and prints a label with the item name, weight, unit price, total, ingredients and a UPC barcode, while the pole-mounted display lets your customer watch the weight and price across the counter.
The LP-1000NP stores 4,000 PLUs with up to 400 characters of ingredient text each, and 54 speed keys put your best sellers one touch away. The built-in direct thermal printer needs no ink or ribbon, loads from a side panel, and comes with 30 preset label formats plus an auto-prepack mode for back-room packing runs. USB and RS-232C ports let you load and back up PLUs from a PC or copy them from scale to scale.

Is the CAS LP-1000NP NTEP Legal for Trade?
Yes. The CAS LP-1000NP is NTEP approved as a Class III scale under Certificate of Conformance 92-169, so it is legal for trade for selling food and other goods by weight. Your state or county inspector may seal the scale at installation. For precious metals or other work that calls for an NTEP Class II balance, see the A&D FX-200iN, 220 g x 0.001 g, NTEP Class II.
LP-1000NP vs. LP-1000N
Both models share the same weighing, printing and PLU features. The LP-1000NP adds the customer display on a pole, which most service counters need so shoppers can see the weight and price. The CAS LP-1000N is the flat-top version for back rooms and pre-pack areas. The pole cannot be added to an LP-1000N later, so choose the LP-1000NP if your customers stand at the counter.
