CAS SH-5000 Gram Scale

The CAS SH-5000 gram scale is a compact CAS SH series portable scale that weighs up to 5000 g in 2 g steps. It runs about 300 hours on three AA batteries, so it can go anywhere: kitchen, workshop, classroom or mailroom.

A high contrast 6-digit LCD settles in about 2 seconds, and the SH-5000 switches between grams, pounds:ounces, troy ounces and pennyweight. A load cell lock protects it in transport, adjustable feet level it on uneven counters, and a molded stacking ring lets several scales stack in storage. Auto power-off saves the batteries, and an over/under load indicator warns before the load cell is stressed.

The SH-5000 is a general purpose gram scale. To sell by weight, choose an NTEP Class III scale such as the CAS SW-1-10 portion control scale, and for precious metals an NTEP Class II balance such as the A&D FX-200iN, 220 g x 0.001 g, NTEP Class II.
