A&D AX-USB-2920-25P USB-to-25-Pin RS-232C Converter

The A&D AX-USB-2920-25P is a USB-to-25-pin RS-232C converter kit that connects an A&D balance, scale or indicator with a 25-pin (DB-25) serial port to a computer that only has USB ports. It comes with a 6 ft cable and the RS-232-to-USB converter.

Windows sees the converter as a virtual COM port, so software that reads a serial balance, such as A&D WinCT, keeps working on modern laptops and PCs.

• A&D instruments with a 25-pin D-Sub RS-232C output
• PCs and laptops with a USB Type-A port

For instruments with a 9-pin RS-232C port, use the 9-pin version of this converter instead.

Do I need a driver?

The converter installs as a virtual COM port. Use the driver supplied with the converter if Windows does not install one automatically.

Will it work with WinCT?

Yes. Select the virtual COM port the converter creates and match the baud rate, parity and data bits set on the balance.
