A&D BM-20 Ion Microbalance: 22 g × 0.001 mg (1 µg)

The A&D Weighing BM-20 is the single-range microbalance in A&D’s Ion BM series. It reads 0.001 mg (1 µg) across its full 22 g capacity, using A&D’s enhanced OES (Ordinal Electromagnetic Sensor), and a built-in fan-less ionizer removes static from samples and vessels at the press of the ION key.

One-touch internal calibration and Automatic Self Calibration keep the balance accurate as the room temperature changes. Built-in sensors display temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure; anti-static coated glass and a large weighing chamber block outside interference; and USB and RS-232C come standard.

BM-20 vs. BM-22?

Both weigh up to 22 g. The BM-20 reads 1 µg over the full range; the BM-22 reads 1 µg up to 5.1 g and 0.01 mg up to 22 g.

Does the BM-20 remove static?

Yes. A built-in fan-less ionizer neutralizes charged samples and vessels, and the glass breeze chamber is anti-static coated.

Is the AD-1688 data logger included?

No. USB and RS-232C are built in; the AD-1688 logger is an optional accessory.
