The A&D Weighing EK-300AEP is an intrinsically safe compact balance for areas where flammable gases or vapors may be present. It weighs up to 300 g in 0.01 g steps and carries IECEx, ATEX, and FM/FMc approvals, so you can weigh samples right where they are made instead of carrying them to a safe area.

It runs on four approved AA alkaline batteries for about 250 hours, with no power supply or safety barrier needed. For data output from a hazardous area, use the optional optical fiber communication cable and converter.
