The A&D Weighing EK-12KAEP (EK12KAEP) is the 12 kg model in A&D’s EK-AEP series of intrinsically safe compact balances. It weighs up to 12 kg in 1 g steps and is approved for use in hazardous locations, running on batteries so no power supply or safety barrier is needed in the hazardous area.

A&D has discontinued the EK-12KEP and lists the EK-12KAEP as its successor.
